The Jesus Girls Rock Awards (JGRA) is a subsidiary of SHEILA TOLBERT MINISTRIES, INC., a 501c3 non-profit organization, which is committed to focusing on the spiritual transformation of men and women through sustainable programs which fund Kingdom projects in the areas of Homelessness, World Hunger, Domestic Violence, and Human Trafficking!
Mission
The mission of Jesus Girls Rock Awards is to celebrate, honor, and recognize the accomplishments of remarkable Christian women leaders who serve within our communities in the following four areas: Domestic Violence, World Hunger, Human Trafficking, & Homelessness.
What are the Jesus Girls Rock Awards?
Jesus Girls Rock Awards has created the following four distinct categories which honor Christian women executives who have made significant contributions within the non-profit sector.
The Esther Award recognizes a Christian female executive in the area of Human Trafficking who possesses the key leadership traits of Esther which are prayer, courage, and influence.
The Ruth Award recognizes a Christian female executive in the area of Hunger who possesses the key leadership traits of Ruth which are faith, gratitude, and perseverance.
The Anna Award recognizes a Christian female executive in the area of Homelessness who possesses the key leadership traits of Anna which are boldness, power, and strength.
The Nehemiah Award recognizes a Christian executive male in the area(s) human trafficking, domestic violence, homelessness, or hunger who possesses the key leadership traits of Nehemiah which are prayer, vision, and courage.
Jesus Girls Rock Awards selects a female CEO for the highest achievement award which is “The Trailblazer Award’’ spotlighting an exceptional and prominent female CEO who serves in the role of a Christian midwife to mentor, coach, and inspire other female CEOs to greatness within the non-profit sector.
How To Nominate or Submit An Entry For The Jesus Girls Rock Awards:
An on-line application must be completed correctly and submitted along with the specific application entry fee(s). However, before nominating a candidate or submitting an entry for a nominee, please review the following minimum requirements to ensure you qualify:
- Must identify as a Christian (believe in the birth, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ)
- Must be a either a CEO, Founder, or Executive Director of a 501c3 non-profit organization in the area(s) of Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, Hunger, Homelessness
- Must be able to provide a Non-profit letter of Determination
- Must be able to provide a letter of recommendation or Letter of community impact
- Must complete a 500 – word essay to describe the leadership traits of the candidate or nominee
- Must pay the application entry fee of $35.00 per award
